Ireland continued to fight on the fourth day of the historic Test against Pakistan in Dublin.

The opening pair of Ed Joyce and skipper William Porterfield resumed on their overnight score of 64-0 after following on.

Joyce went back to the pavilion following a run out while left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir, who was struggling with a knee problem, picked up two wickets as Ireland took lunch at 123-4.

Amir went on pick up his 100th Test wicket before Kevin O’Brien and Stuart Thompson (53) guided Ireland in the post tea session.

O’Brien finished the day unbeaten on 118 as the hosts finished the day on 319-7.
