It’s not often that a Premier League club tweets an Indian cricketer!

But on Wednesday, after MS Dhoni resigned as India ODI and T20I captain, Manchester United congratulated the 35-year-old on his “wonderful career”.

Dhoni, who is known to be a fan of the Red Devils, was also invited for a visit to Old Trafford.

Dhoni captained India in 199 ODIs and 72 T20Is before stepping down from the post. He will still continue playing in both formats at the international level.
