England will be pleased with their efforts on day one as Moeen Ali’s century helped them take the initiative in the fifth and final Test of their series against India at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

The visitors have played some good cricket in parts in the series, but have never been able to take their game to the next gear. They will be hoping that such a thing is not repeated in this Test as well.
