LIVE: Ball-by-ball scorecard and commentary of India vs England – Second Test, day five

We have an exciting final day’s play on our hands in the second Test between India and England at Visakhapatnam with all four results still possible.

The wicket of Alastair Cook in the final over of day four has certainly turned the tide in India’s favour in a big way. The England captain, along with young Haseeb Hameed, batted for just more than 50 overs as the opening partnership put on 75 runs.

Both Hameed and Cook, though, would be dismissed before the end of play on Sunday. With India needing eight wickets to register a win on a crumbling day five pitch, they go in as huge favourites.

On the other hand, the visitors who resume their innings on 87/2 will need a miracle if they are to chase down the target of 405 – which will be a record fourth innings chase in India.
