For India, Suresh Raina misses the match due to viral fever. Virat Kohli, who scored an unbeaten 85 in the first ODI, will be eager to make another meaningful contribution as the series moves to his home ground, the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi.

New Zealand, on the other hand, are in desperate need of a win. They are yet to win a single match on this tour, having previously lost the Test series 3-0.
