After an enthralling Test series between the two sides ended in a 2-2 draw, attention turns to the shorter format of the game.

The first of the five match series heads to Hampshire’s Rose Bowl with each outfit going into the ODI games in very different shape.

England has overseen a revolution since the 2015 World Cup and boast possibly its strongest one-day side in history.

As for Pakistan, they also endured a torrid time in Australia and New Zealand last year but they have so far been able to address their woes in ODIs and T20Is.

Who do you think will win this first match and who do you believe will eventually go on to claim the series?
