England resume their second innings 109-4 with a lead of 237 runs after a fruitful day with the ball on Saturday saw them take a healthy lead into their second knock.

However, with captain Alastair Cook sidelined with an injury, England’s top-order struggled to press their advantage.

Alex Hales does remain and will resume on 41 not out alongside nightwatchman Steven Finn (6*) when play gets underway at Lord’s.
