England cricketer Ian Bell has had a stellar career, featuring for his country across all three formats.

Whether he was at the crease, or with his fielding, Bell, who turns 34 today, made a significant impact.

Amassing 22 Test centuries, he’s one of only a handful of batsmen to have scored a 100 against all Test playing nations, excluding Zimbabwe, apart from four hundreds in One Day Internationals.

He’s also been a consistent presence for England in the Ashes, becoming just the second player since Ian Botham to be involved in five series victories over Australia.

After getting dropped from the Test side last December, Bell is hoping to make a return to the national side at some point, but will now captain Warwickshire as they eye the County Championship title this summer.

1980: Mark Teixeira, American MLB player for the New York Yankees and 2009 world champion (36).

1989: Enner Valencia, Ecuadorian footballer for West Ham and the Ecuador national team (27).

1991: Thiago Alcantara, Spanish footballer who plays for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich (25).

1996: Dele Alli, English footballer and playmaking midfielder for Tottenham and the England national team (20).
