Scotland clinched a famous six-run win over England in a high-scoring ODI in the Edinburgh on Sunday.

England won the toss and elected to bowl first. Scotland openers Kyle Coetzer and Matthew Cross gave the hosts a solid start with a 103-run stand for the first wicket. Calum MacLeod slammed a 70-ball century as Scotland reached  371-5, their highest-ever total in ODI cricket.

In reply England made a strong openers Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy putting together a 129-run stand within 13 overs. Bairstow smashed a whirlwind century before his team lost the way in the middle overs.

Mark Watt picked up 3-55 while Safyaan Sharif picked up the final wicket to stun world No1 England who were bowled out for 365.
