Pakistan’s Champions Trophy winning-team visits Prime Minister Secretariat

The victorious Pakistan Champions Trophy-winning team, led by their charismatic captain Sarfraz Ahmed, attended a ceremony at the Prime Minister Secretariat on Tuesday to celebrate their famous triumph over India.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan and Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq also accompanied the players to the PM’s Office, where they were greeted and congratulated by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Abid Sher Ali and Maryum Aurengzeb, among other ministers.

Sarfraz, meanwhile, has been appointed as the new Pakistan Test skipper off the back of his successful 50-over campaign in England with the Green Army.
