Marking their 400th Test match in history, this is also only the second day-night match Test in history.

It will bring with it plenty of intrigue and the ICC will hope that crowds follow considering the importance they have placed on day-night matches reinvigorating Test cricket with increased supporters turning out at stadiums.

That wasn’t the case on day one as Pakistan romped to 279-1 by the close thanks to a super opening partnership from Sami Aslam and Azhar Ali worth 215.
