Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal smash tons as India ‘A’ amass 458-4 against Leicestershire

India ‘A’ continued their excellent form with the bat as they scored a mammoth 458-4 against Leicestershire in their second warm-up game of the tour of England on Tuesday.

Prithvi Shaw smashed 132 from just 90 balls while fellow opener Mayank Agarwal cracked 151 from 106 balls as the two added 221 runs for the opening wicket in 26 overs.

Shaw hit 20 fours and three sixes at Leicester while Mayank Agarwal cracked 18 fours and five sixes.

Shaw’s U19 World Cup winning team-mate Shubman Gill kept the momentum going with a 86 from 54 balls which included seven fours and five sixes as India reached 458 for four.

India ‘A’ had scored 328-8 against ECB XI in their first tour game.
