Virat Kohli thanks his fans after winning Instagram award

India captain and ICC cricketer of the year Virat Kohli thanked his fans after receiving a special award on Saturday.

The 29-year old star got the award for the Most Engaged 2017 Account on Instagram in India.

And Kohli didn’t spare the chance to mention about the love and support he receives from his fans, which he feels has served as motivation to do the right things.

The right-hand batsman now has 20.1 million followers on Instagram and he credited them for his success.

Kohli is currently gearing up for the eleventh edition of the IPL that begins April 7. Kohli, who was retained by his franchise, will be captaining the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team.

RCB will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their first match, at the Eden Gardens on April 8.
