The Indian cricket team has dispersed after a grueling and successful tour of South Africa. Members of the limited overs and Test teams are busy doing their own thing at the moment. Indiaā€˜s next assignment is the T20 tri-series in Sri Lanka which starts on March 6 but many senior members of the team like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni have been given a much-needed rest.

Hereā€™s what members of the Indian team have been up to since the end of the South Africa series.

AJINKYA RAHANE

It was back to the grind for the India middle-order batsman. Rahane had a decent tour of South Africa, where he scored a fifty and made a couple of other substantial knocks in Tests and ODIs. He posted a video in Instagram on Wednesday from his gym, with the message: ā€œYour results on the field are a reflection of your dedication off the field #neverstop #fitness #befit #stepupā€.

ROHIT SHARMA

It was a fairly tough tour of South Africa for Rohit, who did score an ODI ton but failed throughout the rest of the tour. With the tribulations behind him, it was time for a photo shoot for the Mumbai batsman.

SURESH RAINA

The left-handed batsman made an impressive comeback in the T20 side, with knocks of 15, 31 and 43 plus a wicket as well. Raina is now being seen as a strong contender for spot in the middle-order in the ODI team. He has worked incredibly hard on his fitness and he gave his fans a glimpse of his regimen on Wednesday.

UMESH YADAV

India fast bowler Umesh Yadav was a regular member of the team in white and red ball cricket up until recently but failed to play a single game in South Africa. He is now seen as mainly a Test bowler but even those chances seem to be slipping away. Which is maybe why he went to the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling temple in his home state of Maharashtra, possibly to seek some divine intervention.

ISHANT SHARMA

The Delhi fast bowler is a Test-only bowler nowadays and did very well during the tour of South Africa. Back in India, he decided to lend his support to a great cause ā€“ raising awareness about womenā€™s safety.

YUZVENDRA CHAHAL

The India leg-spinnerā€™s mind seems to be still in South Africa. He had a great time in the ODI series in South Africa but received a lot of stick in the T20s, going for a record 64 runs in the second T20. Even so, it didnā€™t stop him from reminiscing about the beauty of South Africa.
