Hardik Pandya might be the new emerging start of Indian cricket with his swashbuckling performances ever since he made his debut for the Men in Blue but off late, the all-rounder has been making headlines with his funky hairstyles.

The 23-year-old Pandya sported a new take on the Mohawk haircut before embarking on India’s ongoing tour of Sri Lanka which had social media abuzz with its look.

The youngster, who is known to accelerate rapidly batting down the order, likes to also update his hairdos at a similar pace.

Before the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo, Pandya unveiled his newest hairstyle which one again set the tongues wagging on social media.

What is certain from looking at the all-rounder’s new hairdo is that he is quite bold when it comes to fashion.

Even the BCCI could not help themselves as the discussions on the latest fad raged on.

The board quizzed fans on social media as to who could be responsible for Pandya’s latest style-statement. The three names thrown in to mix were of KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan and Pandya himself.

While the results of the poll haven’t been released as of yet, it will be interesting to see who could be the inspiration behind the youngster’s hairdo.

Rahul who himself is no stranger to bold haircuts would certainly be a good shout while Dhawan sure knows how to twirl a moustache in style.

With the complexity surrounding the haircut in question, it would be hard to imagine that Pandya himself could fix the hair.

It definitely looks like a toss-up between Rahul and Dhawan for the role of the unofficial hairstylist of Pandya but the fans will need to wait for the official results of the poll to come out to confirm our suspicions.
