India captain Virat Kohli on Monday hosted a Charity Ball in London, for the Justice and Care organization.

Among the attendees were Sachin Tendulkar as well as current Indian team-mates MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and others.

ut it has been reported that Vijay Mallya was also present at the gathering.

Kohli is associated with plenty of charitable activities, having also started the Virat Kohli Foundation to raise funds for kids.

“We set it up quite a while back but to get it rolling it was very important that we start raising funds in a big way. My vision was to provide for the underprivileged kids,” Kohli said at the event.

Kohli’s side made a memorable start to the tournament as the defending champions crushed arch rivals Pakistan by 124 runs in Birmingham on Sunday.

India will now face Sri Lanka in their second Group Game at The Oval on June 8.
