There’s little doubt that Umesh Yadav has been one of the most improved cricketers over the course of the season for India.

In fact, the series against Australia has seen Umesh record his best ever series in terms of wickets taken when it comes to Test cricket.

The 29-year-old has ended his bowling duties in the series with 17 wickets at a very impressive average of 23.41 which is vastly superior compared to his career average of 35.94.

Umesh’s previous best wicket haul in a series also came against Australia when he took 14 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series Down Under in 2011-12.

Who do you think is India’s best fast bowler in the longest format of the game currently?
