Former India captain MS Dhoni’s mobile phones went missing during a hotel fire in New Delhi recently.

The Jharkhand and Bengal teams, who were playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, were staying at WelcomHotel when a fire broke out on Friday morning.

Dhoni is said to have left his phones in his room while evacuating. When he returned to his room, his phones were missing.

Following the incident, Dhoni filed a complaint with the Delhi Police on Saturday.

Earlier Sunday, Deputy Commissioner of Police Surender Kumar tweeted that the three mobile phones have been recovered.

Jharkhand, captained by Dhoni, were beaten by Bengal in the second semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Saturday.

The former India skipper played an aggressive knock, scoring 70 from 62 deliveries, but his dismissal caused a batting collapse from which Jharkhand never recovered.
