India captain Virat Kohli posted a Holi message for his fans on Twitter, wishing them on the occasion.
At the same time, Kohli spoke about the importance of looking after the safety of animals during the festival, asking people to not throw water or colours at animals.
āHello everyone, just want to wish you all a very, very Happy Holi. Although my Holi is going to be spent travelling to Ranchi, I wish you all a great day today,ā sad Kohli.
āEnjoy with your family and friends, have lots of fun, look after your pets. Be safe and please donāt humiliate any animals on the streets either. Donāt throw water on them, donāt throw any balloons on them, (donāt) throw colours at them. Itās very important that their safety is also looked after.
āAt the same time, enjoy yourselves and enjoy this great festival.ā
