The Supreme Court of India has named Diana Edulji, Vinod Rai, Ramachandra Guha and Vikram Limaye as the four BCCI administrators who will oversee the day-to-day activities of the board.

The decision comes after Anurag Thakur and Ajay Shirke were sacked from their positions earlier this month after they failed to implement the recommendations put forward by the Lodha Committee.

The four personalities come from various fields and will take charge until fresh elections are held.

Diana Edulji is a former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. She represented the country in 20 Tests and 34 ODIs between 1976 and 1993.

Vinod Rai, on the other hand, was the Comptroller and Auditor General of India between 2008 and 2013.

Ramachandra Guha is a prominent historian who is known to be an avid cricket fan. He authored ‘A Corner of a Foreign Field’, a book on the history of Indian cricket.

Vikram Lamaye is the CEO and managing director of IDFC, a private sector bank in India.
