Virat Kohli’s career as captain has definitely started off on a high.

In Tests, within two years, he has taken the Indian team to the top of the ICC rankings. When it comes to ODIs, he has won 16 out of the 19 matches he has captained in so far.

Recently, he was named as India’s permanent ODI skipper after the resignation of MS Dhoni and his tenure has started very well, with India winning the ODI series against England with one more match to play.

On Saturday, the Indian captain posted a short video message on Twitter, thanking fans for all their support.

“Hello everyone, just wanted to make this video to thank all of you for the love and support. The energy that you have shown for the team has been immense and all your positive thoughts and wishes have really worked for us,” said Kohli.

“So, thank you so much. God bless you all, have a great day.”
