India A might have lost the warm-up match against England XI on Tuesday, but the game turned out to be all about MS Dhoni.

Dhoni was captaining in Indian colours for the final time and there was much fanfare around the occasion. There were loud chants of “Dhoni, Dhoni” in the stadium throughout, with one fan even running onto the field to touch his feet.

There was also a brief partnership between Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh which made fans feel very nostalgic. The duo, who have teamed up for some memorable partnerships over the years, paired up after a long time in the 50-over format.

After the match, Yuvraj has a short chat with Dhoni about his career and hailed the Jharkhand cricketer as “one of the best captains ever”.
