Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares for a new phase in his career.

On Monday, Dhoni uploaded an image of him working out in the gym just a day before he leads the India A team in a warm-up match against England in Mumbai.

Dhoni hasn’t played competitive cricket since October 2016, having retired from Tests a couple of years ago. He was seen practicing with the Jharkhand Ranji Trophy team and is said to have mentored the side during their run to the semi-finals.

The 35-year-old quit as the captain of India’s limited overs teams last week. He had captained the Indian side in 199 ODIs and 72 T20Is, which included victories in three ICC tournaments.

Dhoni had previously posted a video of him working out in the gym on Saturday.
