India’s left-arm pacer Ashish Nehra showed great skills against a solid England side boasting the likes of Nasser Hussain, Alex Stewart, Michael Vaughan, Nick Knight and Marcus Trescothick.

With India only managing a chaseable score of 250 for nine in their 50 overs, England were in the running to get over the mark with ease having hard-hitting all-rounders in Andrew Flintoff and Paul Collingwood in their ranks too.

Nehra's brilliance helped his side beat England in the all-important Pool A game.

But England never got going as Nehra picked up wickets regularly to bowl opponents out cheaply on 168 with 27 balls to spare. Nehra ended up with impressive figures of 23 for six in his 10 overs with two maidens as well.

Another magical six-for was achieved in 2003 world cup by Kiwi sensation Shane Bond, who also conceded just 23 runs against Australia for his feat but ended up on the losing side in a super-six stage match.

Speedster Brett Lee stole the limelight by picking a five-wicket haul to help Australia win by 96 runs in a low-scoring tie in which all the 19 wickets went to quickies.
