Dubai Sports City are inviting cricket fans to watch the eagerly anticipated Asia Cup 2018 at their Fan Park located in the Sports Village from September 18.

The tournament, which will be hosted at Dubai International Stadium and Zayed Cricket Stadium from September 15, will be shown at the fully air-conditioned Dome in Dubai Sports City from September 18 – 28, including the highly anticipated India v Pakistan meeting as well as the final. The first game to be broadcast at the Cricket Fan Park will see India play in their first qualifying match against the recently qualified Hong Kong.

Organisers are promising an electric, festival atmosphere at the Fan Park with music, beverages, food trucks and stalls serving a selection of Asian and continental dishes, including a traditional chaat station, all available to purchase. There will also be a kids’ area and gaming zone to keep the whole family entertained.

Entry to the 700-capacity venue is free of charge for fans of all ages and will be filled with the colourful flags of the teams competing, as well as a host of cricket-themed branding and activities.

Visitors to the Fan Park will be able to cheer on their team in a thrilling stadium atmosphere. Doors to the Fan Park will be open from 14:00 and will stay open until the early hours of the morning.

Please note that access to the venue will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Asia Cup is a one-day international cricket tournament, meaning each match contains innings of 50 overs. This will be the 14th running of the event and the third time it has been held in the UAE – the previous two being in 1984 and 1995.
