18:30 – West Indies and Bangladesh swap places in latest ICC Test rankings

The latest ICC Test rankings were released on Sunday with some major movements following West Indies’ 2-0 series win over Bangladesh as well as Sri Lanka’s 278-run victory over South Africa at Galle. West Indies and Bangladesh have swapped places in the latest team rankings with the former moving up to the eighth spot. There were also some big gains for skipper Jason Holder as well as for Sri Lanka opener Dimuth Karunaratne.

Karunaratne and Holder have climbed up the table in the ICC rankings.

17:45 – Faf du Plessis wants to see the end of coin tosses

The South African is the latest player to call for an end to the coin toss following their 278-run defeat to Sri Lanka. Click here on what the skipper said.

Faf du Plessis is not a big ‘fan’ of the coin toss.

16:30 – James Vince is called up to England’s ODI squad for series decider

The Hampshire batsman has been drafted into the squad to allow Dawid Malan to play for the Lions in their four-day game against India A. Read more on that story here.

12:10pm – Sri Lanka T20 league is postponed

The Sri Lankan cricket board has confirmed their new T20 league will not take place next month with new dates to be announced once the governing body elections have finished. Read here for more.

11:30am – Joe Root praises England team-mates after levelling the ODI series

The England Test captain scored 113 in the 86-run win over India on Saturday and later hailed his team-mates for the way they performed at Lord’s. Click here on more on what he said.

England produced a commanding display to tie the series at 1-1.
