11:30 – Pakistan in commanding position

Four Pakistan batsmen, including Babar Azam, hit fifties as Sarfraz Ahmed’s team reached 350 for eight in the first Test against England at Lord’s.

England dropped many chances in the slip cordon as Pakistan stretched the lead to 166.

10:30 pm – Sunrisers into IPL final

Rashid Khan had a brilliant day in the field as Sunrisers Hyderabad beat the Kolkata Knight Riders by 14 runs to enter the IPL final on Friday.

Rashid hit 34, took three wickets and claimed two catches plus a run-out to single-handedly set up a title clash with Chennai Super Kings.

7:15 pm – Rashid Khan takes Sunrisers Hyderabad to 174-7

Spinner Rashid Khan hit 34 from just 10 balls to take Sunrisers Hyderabad to a competitive 174-7 in the IPL Qualifier against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Rashid helped score 24 runs from the final over after a slow start from Kane Williamson’s team at the Eden Gardens on Friday.

Pakistan lost their captain Sarfraz Ahmed just before tea even as his team held the upper hand in the Lord’s Test against England.

Pakistan moved on to 264 for five in the final session after Babar Azam and Asad Shafiq hit fifties.

Former Australia skipper Steve Smith has been confirmed as one of several marquee players for the proposed Global T20 Canada league set to get underway on June 28.

The banned Australia star joins the likes of Chris Lynn, Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga and Sunil Narine for the Toronto-based league.
